The Surrey Heartlands Academy has developed a two year offer, setting out how it can support the system, particularly in continuing to aid recovery and reform from the COVID-19 pandemic. The key priorities for 2020/21 are to:

  • Support the Integrated Care System to maintain its digital gains (for example by engaging the system with the health technology accelerator project)
  • To develop how we use data and intelligence (Population Health Management) to drive health and care delivery and to support PCNs and ICPs develop new models of care
  • To connect the clinical/professional voice to advise on recovery and accelerate response where required by the Recovery board
  • To work collaboratively but remotely and at pace to build on our learning and to help capture and evaluate learnings and innovations made during COVID-19.
  • To equip individuals to reflect on their experiences and skills to use their learning to support themselves and devise and improve new ways of working through improvement methodology.
