Sue Robertson, Associate Director of Strategic Planning and Integrated Assurance, Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership said: “Surrey Heartlands would like to share a message of thanks, on behalf of the NHS, to all care homes and care workers, including domiciliary (home) care workers, for the passionate commitment they have shown to the wellbeing of those they care for. The local NHS has provided support to care homes, running 170 training sessions on infection control and safe use of PPE. Integrated Care Partnership Directors and Clinical Leads are also making weekly check-in calls to care homes.”
