Surrey Community Action, in partnership with Enterprise M3 and Action Hampshire, is helping to prepare the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise sector for Brexit with training specifically tailored for the sector’s needs.
The training is designed to help VCFSE organisations prepare for some of the effects Brexit may have on business in the UK but on the voluntary/third sector in particular; with a special focus on the possibility of a ‘no-deal’ Brexit.
All sessions are designed and led by Surrey Community Action based on guidance from the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). Each session consists of a presentation followed by time for questions and discussion.
“If you are a Social Enterprise, a Charity, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), a Community Interest Company (CIC), a Community Land Trust, a Housing Association, a Cooperative or another kind of voluntary/third sector group, then this event is for you,” said Jason Gaskell, Surrey Community Action CEO.
All sessions are free. The first event is in Surrey on Monday 21 October. Tickets can be reserved here. The second event will be in Hampshire on Friday 25 October. Tickets for this event can be reserved here.
A webinar is also planned for Monday 28 October between 10.00am and noon. You can register to take part here. For more information about training for Brexit and any of the training sessions email firstname.lastname@example.org.
